Very good

Good but charged twice as...

Liked: The pool was lovely and ideal for my 3 year old. Staff were also very helpful as I booked a double room with sofa bed for our family, but they moved us when they advertised a sofa bed that didn’t actually open/ work (!). So they moved us to adjoining rooms.
Disliked: The reception staff insisted I hadn’t paid via the booking.com app when I had and as such now I have to the additional work of getting my money back

Disabled not welcome here.

Liked: I would like honesty when booking. I'm disabled and needed a disabled person room. Even sent a message. Twice this has happened at this hotel. I will not go there next year. Totally disgusted. No safety rails or wet room. No shower chair or perching chair. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. The 3 star hotel had everything I required. In Portsmouth. And far better all round. I hate this place
Disliked: I HATE THIS DOSSHOLE. No photos taken of a disabled person room as it wasn't for a disabled person. Then the receptionist in the morning to get something myself. Or pay a charge to have it brought to me.

Child friendly helpful staff but...

Liked: It was child friendly. At the kids meal options at dinner my 10 and 6 year old children ate everything in their plate. Play areas available for them at the reception and outdoors accessible to the dining area which was a plus so adults can enjoy their meal at peace. The food was well prepared and good portions. Restaurant staff provide good service. We booked half board with breakfast and dinner the website said we can order from the menu a 3 course meal. But we found out it was a set menu to choose from selected items from the restaurant menu. The rooms were very spacious.
Disliked: We booked 2 rooms 225 and 227, the 225 bathroom flooded at the second shower so I had to use the other bathroom and informed the reception at check out s we stayed one night..Also the carpet floors had dog fur in it so I informed the reception then they immediately arranged to vacuum it. I think better have non dog rooms for people who have allergy to dog fur like me. The tea mugs in room 225 were not matching but 2 colors which looked unprofessional for a said 4 star hotel.

Liked: Breakfast was amazing lovely thick bread great breakfast choice had everything u need Beds very comfy
Disliked: We used the spa which is always nice but on this occasion the steam room didn't have much steam so we couldn't use it not sure why and I would of liked the sauna to be where the swimming pool was so that me and my partner could go together in it

Liked: Bed was comfy, clean and tidy, good facilities
Disliked: Bit pricey for just sleeping the night
