Liked: Easy access into Chester

Exceptional

Liked: It was great value. We really got a bargain. We didn't Interact with many staff but Carli was exceptional and we'd hoped we could bring her back to Belfast with us . She was welcoming, informative and really took charge.
Disliked: The air conditioning g didn't work in the room and it was like a sauna. The rooms we got were a fair walk from the reception and with a ton on gear from the bike to be carried up, it was a bit of bother.

Liked: Location is convenient just 10 minute drive to Chester town centre
Disliked: Room we were in smelt a bit musty, also air con not working, pool area was very dated, paint flaking on roof above pool, rust on show on metal areas and windows blown all around, I think whole hotel needs a renovation

Exceptional

Ideal location on outskirts of...

Liked: Ideal location for us after visiting the nearby zoo. Handy park & ride facility into Chester city centre located across the road. Plenty of choice of delicious breakfast with friendly staff to greet us in the morning. Both receptionists we spoke to were also very helpful. We never realised how big the hotel was, it was a long walk to our room at the back! Room itself was ideal, clean with comfy beds and bath/shower combo. We used the swimming pool which good with clean changing rooms, remember your £1 for the lockers!
Disliked: Outside looks a bit run down but don't let that put you off as inside is much better!

Basic but nice

Liked: Location central for what we wanted.Dinner was very nice, good menu.Toys for kids at dinner was nice.Breakfast selection was good.
Disliked: Air con not working on the first night. Very uncomfortable for 2 adults + 2 kids.Rang to be moved rooms and we were told the air-conditioning was broke in the hotel and that we could move tomorrow to a different room.I asked the following morning and we could move room later that day to a new room where the air con was working (it was never broke throughout the hotel, just that room). We were very appreciative of new room, but it had no bath and no fridge which were needed with 2 kids under 4. And I had requested these for our stay. We were lucky our stay was just 2 nights here.
