Pleasant
Liked: Staff was extremely friendly. The lady that waited on me her name was Teresa. She was extremely friendly, very polite and had a smile on her face the whole time.
Disliked: The rooms were ok. The bathroom was terrible. The toilet was messed up. The shower rod was bent so the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed and water would get all over the floor. Light fixture was broken in the bathroom. The tub wouldn’t drain so you standing in water while you’re showering. After showering the water started letting out but very slow. Walls in the bathroom needs to be redone.

Rundown hotel with bedbugs and...
Liked: The view (if you have an ACTUAL riverfront room) is stunning. Staff at check in were nice and helpful. Manager was wonderful.
Disliked: It’s called “riverview”, but with no river view. After check in, Booking text asking if we need anything, we responded that we would like to upgrade to an actual river view room. They said they didn’t have any. So I tried to call the front desk, but the room phone didn’t work. The front desk wasn’t able to upgrade since we booked through Booking. Called Booking & upgraded us, but front desk had a shift in attitude (I guess because we changed rooms, but we were in the room for 30 minutes and didn’t mess up anything). We go out for dinner, then get in bed & look over to see a bedbug crawling on our pillow! We take video, then smashed it in a tissue. Since we had to call Booking about our issue earlier, we assumed we would need to call them for this, to which it took over 30 minutes to get an agent on the phone. Darrell wanted to see proof of the bedbug before he gave us a refund so we pack our things & go downstairs in our pajamas. Darrell already has attitude on his face as we get up to the counter. I put the tissue on the counter for him to see, then he proceeds to ask for the video as well… no apology or concern, just says that he has checked us out. I tell him I need some proof of a refund or that we’ve checked out & he says he has nothing to give me. When you check out you get a piece of paper, so I refused to leave until he gave me a print out of transactions since check in. It still didn’t mention the refund, but we left. I checked my bank statement the next day, and there is no refund processed, I even called my bank & they said it should be posted, but instead, it was just still showing the charge for the full amount. We went back that morning & spoke with the manager. She was very apologetic & pushed the refund through, with paperwork to prove it -immediately showing in my account. We showed her pictures from where we pulled out the nightstand & found mold, food, & toys.

Liked: Comfortable beds, clean, mostly nice and accommodating staff, shuttle service
Disliked: No safe, some rooms are more noisy than others, very worn down rooms/bathrooms, way overpriced

Liked: Value. Price was good
Disliked: Mediocre food in the restaurant. Humidity in the room was extremely high causing moisture on floors and walls. Floors in the room were swept but not mopped well
