Disliked: The hallway felt like I stepped into a sauna

Liked: The view from the rooftop bar was incredible. The staff was super amazing! Location is great especially when traveling by Uber.
Disliked: It's a bit outdated. Definitely needs upgrades. Main reason I chose this place was for the shuttle into the city which was down for maintenance the day we were there forcing us to Uber.

Very Disappointing, considering how excited...

Liked: The location and the driver to town were a welcome bonus.
Disliked: This was a terrible experience, and I will be allowing the management to make this right before I detail everything but for a vacation, this was beyond disappointing, and I am pretty easy going. If this is a special occasion, or you are a clean freak and expect minimal customer service on vacation, spend a little more and look elsewhere.

Liked: Staff were amazing. Good shuttle service. If hotel matched the staff it would be an amazing place to stay.
Disliked: Dirty, run down, smelly, broken fixtures and fittings really poor hotel in general. Breakfast was horrendous.

Worst hotel on the east...

Disliked: I came in to have a surgery procedure. My friend got off at 6, we drove an two hours. Looked at the menu online and decided to eat there to save time. The young lady at the desk was super friendly and helpful. Went up to eat stood by the wait to be seated sign for about 5 min. then went to the bar and was told sit anywhere someone will be right with you. Waiter came and told us we had to move. Then told us they don't have that online menu anymore. The new menu had 3 sandwiches, 5 entree's one they were out of so 4. Appetizers. I went for the chicken Sammy no spice baked. He told us the baked chicken wasn't that good, get the fried. Pre surgery diet couldn't have fried. Went for the flatbread pizza, oh our pizza oven is down, no pizza. I got the chicken Caesar wrap and water. The water tasted like they got it from the Marsh. Got through dinner and went to get a good night sleep, nope! Weather stripping on hall door and balcony door was gone so lights lit up room from hall, and I might as well opened the slider because I heard traffic like it was open, balcony below was smoking blunts and cigars and I could smell it all night, ac unit had a fan bearing bad so it squealed all night, and the TV remote didn't work or the alarm clock. Went to take a shower and the wash cloth looked as if someone used it as toilet paper. We went to bed at 9, phone went off at 2:43 am and persisted to flash a red light, so got up at 4am and told the very professional and courteous gentleman at the desk we were leaving and I wanted my money back, and went to another more reputable place. Instead of remodeling they should tear it down.

A unique and lovely hotel...

Liked: Everything was amazing: The location, the view from #912, the uniqueness of the rooms and the hotel itself, the pool, the breakfast in the top floor restaurant, the employees. I really enjoyed it here and would stay again.
Disliked: The only thing that made me sad was that the balcony in the room is not usable, but I am sure that is just my fault for missing something stating that in the room listing.
