Located between the Principality Stadium and Cardiff Castle Holiday Inn Cardiff City offers rooms and facilities for business and leisure guests. Ideally located in the city center the hotel has 157 fully air conditioned bedrooms with views of the Millennium Stadium and Cardiff Castle. Good

Liked: The location was great and staff were lovely.
Disliked: The bed was quite small (smaller than our bed at home) and the bathroom could do with a new shower. For the price we paid we expected a better room.

Nice hotel

Liked: Great city centre location with fantastic views, cleaning staff were exceptionally polite & food at breakfast was really nice
Disliked: My grandson's bed was a settee with sheets that he found uncomfortable on the 1st night & i found uncomfortable for the rest of the stay as i had to swap with him, also in 2024 for a family room there was a lack of sockets for modern technology and did struggle to keep all things charged , i have to add that is a small complaints though as overall it was genuinely a nice stay

Very enjoyable stay, would definitely...

Liked: Excellent breakfast, great choice. Staff friendly and very helpful. TV in room stopped working but was dealt with immediately. Comfortable and attractive public areas to sit. Good views from our rooms, Principality Stadium and river from 1 room, castle from the second room. Overall good location and would stay there again.
Disliked: The restaurant lacked atmosphere in the evening but the food was very good.

Very good

Liked: Good-sized room, great breakfast.
Disliked: Parking is too expensive. £15 per night after paying £500 for four nights to stay is too much.

Good location, sub standard room...

Disliked: Very poor room.. old and worn furniture and very stuffy .. and noisy.. unable to sleep.. for the price and comparisons with other hotels I have stayed in in the city, this room definitely was under the standard expected
