EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

Disliked: I booked a hotel room through Booking.com with a cancellation-free rate, and everything was confirmed. But when I arrived at the hotel (10 pm), I was informed that my room had been canceled without any notice and sold to walk-in guests.Although I was provided with alternative accommodation, I still had to pay the full price I initially booked, which is simply unacceptable. This alternative was not what I had chosen or expected, and the entire situation caused me considerable inconvenience and frustration.I trusted Booking.com to ensure a reliable and smooth booking experience, and this failure has seriously undermined that trust. I expect this issue to be investigated thoroughly and a fair resolution provided, as it is unacceptable to pay for a service that was not honored as agreed.

Liked: Free parking and sufficient parking spots. Great service. Clean rooms. Great restaurant and bar. Good location

Superb

Excellent hotel, all on one...

Liked: Very friendly welcome from Alan, who offered his assistance as I use a wheelchair. He also arranged an accessible taxi - thank you, Shooey.Everywhere looked and smelt fresh, but a little extra attention in the bathroom could have made it perfect.There was a good selection at breakfast and kind, helpful staff. Other staff members checked that I was okay and could manage in my wheelchair. I shall be returning for another visit and enquired about holding a group charity meeting next year. My pre-booked Accessible Room was very good for my requirements. It was in a good location.
Disliked: I prefer the price quoted to be the total cost and not VAT added afterwards.If adapting more rooms to be accessible, then a walk-in shower would be preferable.Cooked breakfast could have been hotter,

Very good would highly recommend.

Liked: The staff were extremely helpful always went above and beyond especially Alan and Brendan.
Disliked: Wifi wasn't the best very glitchy.

Disliked: The stay was fabulous apart from the fact that I wasn't expecting to have to pay for parking unless I became a member. We did become a member to enable the free parking but it was a faff we didn't need on a busy day when we weren't expecting to have to do this.Otherwise, the stay was lovely. Thank you

It was pleasant enough apart...

Liked: Staff very friendly and helpful. The location was an easy park and ride to the city centre
Disliked: 2 mugs and 1 Packet of biscuits for 3 people. Jacuzzi broken. No towels in swimming pool. Had to bring our own from room. The smoking area is at the end of the children's playground!!!!!!! Instead of having a small section roped off in the garden room next to the bar which was empty anyway. Took a member of the bar staff over 30mins to replace a beer barrel. Gave up and ordered something else.
