Drive past and keep going

Disliked: Hot tube was being repaired so CLOSED. Pool was shut down all day Monday (opened in the evening for a couple hours) Had to be drained and refilled to repair a jet. Hotel was half empty but they put us up on the 6th floor. (two 62 yr old women and a 30-year-old man). There were 2 cups for coffee & 2 Decaf K cups. Neither one of drink Decaf coffee. Every outlet in the room (609) we tried to use, the plug fell out. To use the shower you had to jiggle the handle and turn it around a few times to get it to turn on. Hot water at best was luke warm. We asked for a roll of toilet paper at 2:30 Monday afternoon we were told they would bring it to the room. We went to the State fair at 4pm still had not seen any toilet paper. Upon returning at 11:30 pm still no roll of toilet paper. We went to front desk and was told a story by night staff about a manager going home with the extra rolls in his trunk. Employee handed us a box of tissue and told us to use it. (I wonder if all the spare rooms had unused rolls, No breakfast but a 20% off coupon for one meal. Previous restaurant with bar is closed so no drinks. Hopefully when Applebee's open's (was told hopefully by end of year) it will improve. Not the Holiday Inn experience that I remember from the past.

Liked: Very clean, quiet and friendly service. Wonderful and quick inside restaurant. This is the 2nd time we stayed here and we will be back.

Liked: The staff went above and beyond for us. Two young ladies at the front desk. Helped us with our issues with kindness and expertise. Honestly if it weren't for them, there would be a poor review. The rest of the staff we encountered all had a smile and greeted us. Your staff is the shining star of the entire property.
Disliked: The room we booked had no A/C, this was during a heat wave. it was 78 degrees with everything set the coolest. The ladies at the front desk got us squared away with another room except we didnt have two queen beds and my teenager was not thrilled with a pull out. I paid extra for the two queen room. The hot tub is not usuable either.

Liked: The staff was really nice and welcoming.
Disliked: The hotel room was very dirty the bathroom was not clean at all it had hair all over the floor the couch had crumbs all over it and the carpet was filthy our socks were pure black from walking on it our chair leg was broken its not a clean environment at all especially for children will not be coming back.

No working water in rooms

Liked: I planned a birthday party for my daughter. The plan was for her little cousins to spend the night with us. However, no one got to spend the night because there was no running water in the room.
