Good hotel to stay when visiting Boone, NC.

Liked: Cleanliness and location.
Disliked: Wish it had free breakfast.

Will not stay there again...

Liked: The room was nice.
Disliked: I didn't like that the room was advertised as have breakfast included. It was not. It also advertised an indoor pool and spa. Both were (and apparently had been) out of service for some time. We were offered "free" breakfast tickets to what had been advertised as included breakfast, as compensation for no pool.

Great location in relation to...

Liked: As we were checking in, I was disappointed to learn the pool was closed. Access was difficult if you must make a left turn into the parking lot. The driveway is right before a traffic light on a heavily traveled road. It is best to proceed to the traffic light and turn left, go down a bit and turn around, back to the light and turn right so the hotel is on your right. Plus, the driveway itself has a high crown, so you bottom out if you aren't careful.
Disliked: Pool closed.

More pros than cons

Liked: Helpful staff, easy checkout, great options of snacks in the market, great bed, spacious room, great location
Disliked: Lumpy carpet in hallway. Elevator seemed old and was operating poorly, dinged hallway corners & doorways.
