Disliked: The room was so hot. Air conditioning would be the final element to add to this hotel to make it perfect

Pleasant

Liked: it was comfortable
Disliked: Shower would not drain and so with a shallow shower tray it easily overtopped and flooded the bathroom floor - their solution was to just use towels on the bathroom floor to deal with the flood. they eventually unblocked the shower on the day of my departure but didn't rinse it out so it stank out the room and bathroom.

Lovely stay

Liked: The hotel was central, has parking on site for £5 a night and it was clean. Staff were lovely and always happy to help. Breakfast and meals were pretty good.
Disliked: We were down for the Ironman 70.3. If we wanted the bike to be in our room it was a £50 deposit which is understandable to a degree but a bit annoying. The storage they offered for the bike for free, meant that they weren’t insured if anyone stole or broke the bike whilst in storage.

Disappointing

Liked: Location was ok nothing else
Disliked: Being charged £25 for early checking to a room that was already ready amd a loud noise coming on and off then to be moved to a room with a lot smaller bed with no help at all

Liked: Breakfast has a variety of items, everything you’ll need to set you up for the day.It’s reasonably central and a 10 minute walk into town.
Disliked: The car park is a first come first served basis. There is an overflow car park but part of it isn’t tarmac, overgrown grass and looks like waste land. Be careful as some cars block you in and you can’t find the people as they’ve gone out for the day. We had to wait over an hour to get out!!The doors in the rooms slam shut if you’re not careful closing them, not very nice at whatever hour your neighbours come back from the pub or club and wakes you up.There’s no view from whatever room you have so don’t come here if you’re looking one.The ac was broken but a fan provided. Be careful when you book through Booking.com as we requested a twin room but the request didn’t filter down to the hotel, luckily the last on reception man he’s to find us the last twin room.
