Great shuttle to and from Waterfront Concert. Excellent rooms!
Joan, Moncton, visiting Darling's Waterfront Pavilion Wed, 27 May 2015
Very nice clean hotel. Friendly front desk staff. Ate breakfast at the restaurant and prices were very good. Took the shuttle to the concert - again very friendly staff, met 3 drivers over the 2 days and all were friendly with prompt service! Will definitely stay there again in the future.

Liked: Location, the hotel itself, and rooms were all great.
Disliked: A housekeeper entered our room and emptied our fridge before checkout time (noon). We had not communicated that we wanted to checkout. We went down the street for breakfast and came back to find our leftovers tossed out. The housekeeper denied it.

I won?t be staying here...
Liked: The only plus side I had during this experience was the woman that checked me in. I wish I could remember her name. I checked in 7/3/2020. Later in the day. Say 4-5ish
Disliked: Absolutely everything. I?ve honestly been fighting myself not to call for a refund. Aside from the wonderful lady upfront at check in this stay was horrid to the max. From the minute I left check in it went downhill. I?ll try to avoid sounding like a Karen in this rant. From the beginning... we parked our car, gathered our things and proceeded to the door where we were greeted by the construction men. Not wearing masks. Literally standing about 2-3 feet from me puffing a cig staring at us trying to get the key to open the door. Only to find out one keys works. The other doesn?t. Finally get the door open and we aren?t truly bothered about that. Technical issues and employees that aren?t truly associated with the hotel. However... We get up to the room... I had put in a reservation for a single queen double room. And actually received an individual email after my reservation stating that I was approved for my requested room. On,y to find out I had a room with two queens. I immediately called down to the desk before touching anything (COVID) and the man was rude as hell telling me they don?t have single bed rooms on the property and that the Kong?s were being renovated so the room I received was my only option... if I chose to stay... okay I drove two hours for do a motorcycle course in the area and you?re telling me I have to like it or lump it. Okay? We decided to say whatever. I only got the single bed because in the pictures it included a desk for me to study. But... going into the bathroom... There was blood on the walls... literally... as if some had leaned there hand on the wall to put a tamp on in or something I don?t know. It was repulsive. especially during COVID. I also found it really gross that the toilet paper roll was almost completely gone. Meaning god knows how many people used it... and there was a hand towel obviously used in the bottom of the tub with a bunch of dark black markings on it? And then the planes... woke up at 2am one night...

Fantastic reprieve from our daily...
Liked: I used to be a housekeeping manager at a 4-star hotel in Seattle and I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room.
Disliked: We had something delivered from the front desk and the staff member did not have a mask or any other PPE on, which was concerning. We both work in healthcare with high risk clients and felt very uncomfortable with the lack of protection during that interaction. Staff should be wearing masks when knocking on guest doors.

Disliked: Barking dogs, new renovations but old bath fixtures, construction workers right outside first floor window

Disliked: We walked into the first floor and a chipmunk was running around. Not impressed at all. When i called front desk they just laughed about it!!

Liked: The housekeepers were very friendly and helped me move all my luggage.
Disliked: There was noticeable mold in one of the entrances. I saw a painter just covering with paint.... like that is the proper way to handle black mold encroaching from the ceiling. We were put into a room on the side of the hotel that the staff is well aware is under construction. After an hour of drilling of the wall in the adjacent room. I requested to be moved which we were. But payed close to 300 dollars and have to play musical rooms. Be drove crazy by construction. The parking lot is also filthy and there is even used needles out there. Mind you where I am suppose to be walking my service dog.
