Liked: Holiday inn was what we expect of them we had one problem and that was the car parking we paid up front and was told by the member of staff that the ticket we used to get into the property was the one we would need in the morning (which we thought was strange) so in the morning it wouldn?t let us out of the car park so had to re park up and go back into hotel and change ticket
Disliked: Breakfast was good.

Good experience overall
Liked: Location was very convenient - was able to take Metro from the airport.

Disliked: Upon entering our room around 8 pm we noticed an electrical burning smell and the room was very warm. We attempted to adjust the thermostat without success. Front desk was unable to be reached by telephone so we walked down to report the issue. Approximately 30 minutes later maintenance staff came to our room. After a few adjustments he told us the air conditioning unit in our room was broke. 4 different air conditioning units were brought to our room in a 2 hour time frame. The fourth air conditioning unit ?worked? according to maintenance but it would constantly ?buzz?. We were advised by the front desk that getting another room was not an option. Around midnight the buzzing, working air conditioner stopped working. The temperature in our room never dropped below 76 degrees our entire stay. Between maintenance coming in and out of our room, the loud buzzing coming from the air conditioner, the electrical smell and the heat my family got little to no sleep. Upon checking out we again reported all the issues to Kris at the front desk and were advised a manager would be contacting us by 11am. Around 4pm we still had not heard from the manager. We were still in town so we stopped by and asked again to speak with a manager, but were told by Kris that the manager would be contacting us by email. That was 4 days ago and we still have not heard from a manager...pretty sure we will never hear from someone and will just have to chalk it up to a loss. Last visit to a Holiday Inn for my family.
