Disliked: room cleaning only on order, it should be a standard for the price level.Carpet is very old and smells. Smell in the hotel (lifts and corridors is really not nice)

Liked: Loved the staff and decor. The included breakfast was delicious. Loved the pool and hot tub. The room was everything we needed,very spacious. Would stay again and recommend.
Disliked: There was a computer glitch that tried to charge me again but they said I would not get charged it was only pending in my bank. At check out was told it will be taken care of. Just as a single mom it did scare me .

The front desk clerk was...

Liked: The breakfast was very good. It had a variety of breakfast items to cater to each guest. The way the breakfast was setup it flowed very nicely and there was no waiting in line.
Disliked: If you could please email me at [email protected] I could explain in great detail the issues we experienced with our room. We arrived at the hotel around 4:00 pm or just shortly after which was check-in time. I walked to the counter and spoke with a very friendly gentleman who started checking us in. The clerk said unfortunately the room we booked was not clean yet and it was the only room of that kind in the hotel. He said if we would like to have a seat he would contact housekeeping and see how long the wait was going to be. After waiting about 15 minutes we told the clerk that we were going to take our children for a ride around the city and would be back. The clerk said to check back in about an hour to see if the room was clean. We arrived back at the hotel just before 6:00 pm and we were finally able to check in. We entered the room and everything appeared to be in order. A short time later my 8 year old son came to me and said that there was something on his bed sheet. My wife and I looked at the sheet and it appeared to be a urine stain. It only got worse from that point. My children began noticing red stains all over the carpet in the bedrooms, near the kitchen, and in the living room. Numerous pillow cases were stained with an unknown substance. My wife went to take a shower and noticed that the towel she picked up was stained and there was brownish black substances on the shower wall and in the tub. After spending almost 8 hours in a car and no other rooms that would fit our family we had no other option than to stay the night. We did take numerous photos of the room. When we went to checkout the next morning I spoke with the front desk clerk and explained to him the issues that we experienced. The clerk did apologize and then asked if I was an IHG member. I told him I wasn't, he offered me points. I attempted to contact the hotel GM twice via phone and once via email, but he has failed to respond.
