Disliked: First impression not good. The lady at the desk to check in was frazzled and overwhelmed.. then we got to our room finally room #615. It was horrible, the smell of spray paint then the elevator motor was on the side where our headboard was. Talk about loud!! By 4 am I had it couldn’t sleep everytime I would fall asleep the sound would wake us. So I called the front desk and the lady working was super nice and moved our room the next day. Which was an upgrade thankfully amd complimentary breakfast. We then went to eat breakfast and they were understaffed hardly any food and you have to wait for drinks. Just not at all a great experience!! I would never pay that much for the kind of breakfast served not worth it!!!!

Disliked: Booked and charged for a suite, instead placed in a small room with one bed and one sofa.

Liked: It was easy to find
Disliked: The hotel restaurants food wasn’t great. The elevator needed vacuumed really bad. Noticed it on the way to the room and it was the same the next morning when we were leaving. We kept trying to turn the air on and it would switch itself back to heat. Booking.com said our charge would be around 158.00 they ran our card for over 180.00!

Felt like I was out...

Liked: There was nothing that I asked for that they didn't hear me more than enough of. The on-site security was very impressive. And their complimentary breakfast was unbeatable
Disliked: Nothing really. No buy one get one free maybe? Only joking because my daughter didn't want to go back home and we were there for her 8th birthday

Awesome hotel for a family...

Liked: Charleston was the halfway point for our family's first road trip (Indiana to North Carolina). On our way there, we stayed at a hotel that did not have a pool, but trying to wear out our 4 & 2.5 year old after 7 hours in the car in just our room was challenging. We decided to stay at this location on our return trip because of the pool. Thankfully the pools hours were incredibly accommodating -- we didn't arrive until 9:30pm and the pool was open until 11pm. Our kids, despite being exhausted, really enjoyed the pool so much so that we returned the next morning at 7am.
Disliked: When we arrived at 9:30pm, it was VERY busy in the lobby so we ended up having to wait a while until we were able to be checked in which was very surprising, but the employee was incredibly kind!
