Liked: the breakfast was very good, well made, not just boring eggs and bacon. the coffee was freshly ground and delicious. the house is absolutely beautiful, and well decorated. the innkeeper’s were sociable and interesting to talk to. will go again.

Great, friendly place- especially if...

Liked: Breakfast was delicious. John was incredibly friendly and helpful - only met Jeanette at breakfast. Her tarts were also delicious. Could not have asked for a friendlier, more complete atmosphere. Would highly recommend this place.
Disliked: A little noisy on the first floor- but glad we did not have to climb the stairs. Had a little trouble regulating heat- but John had told us he was always available- we just did not contact him because it was so late.

Liked: Incredible location, 10 min drive to Sunday River, hosts were incredibly friendly. Room was amazingly clean, very comfortable. Free cookies and tea/coffee all day. Delicious breakfast

Very nice and the host...

Liked: It was lovely everything about it was wonderful except I was a little cold at night they turned the heat off the second night I learned to wear sweaters. Breakfast course was amazing and worth every cent.

Disliked: Not a lot of room for storage. Not an issue for one or two people, but might be tight for a family with kids
