Beautiful building and ideal location,...

Liked: The building itself was beautiful and our room was everything i wanted . We had a four poster in the old house. The bed be was comfortable. We had a 2 night stay booked, so had breakfast and dinner over the 2 nights. We managed to do lots of sight seeing due to the location of the hotel.
Disliked: My first real disappointment was when we had to rush our first course at breakfast/cereal as the hot food we had ordered had been brought out before we had finished, this also happened at dinner and as i looked around the room so was it happening to other guests. My husband and i had been hotel hopping around Yorksire all week and yet lesser expensive hotels were not rushing their guests to eat, i feel maybe this being a big establishment the individual interpersonal relationship is missing.
