Liked: Very centrally located hotel at only a few minutes walk from Mainz city centre. Very friendly staff and good breakfast options as well. Very comfortable beds as well.
Disliked: Keep in mind there are 2 doors (not a complaint but good to know). The noise of the street can ben an issue as well.

Disliked: I would recommend to put a small lamp on the desk

Perfect mix of old and...

Liked: We loved the location, the restaurant, and honestly there wasn’t anything bad about it. This is a very cute property and if you are able to stay at it, I would highly recommend you do.
Disliked: The check in time is truly three but they were able to accommodate us to get in a little earlier.

Great location, clean and comfortable.

Liked: Location was very convenient to shopping. We visited Mainz for the Christmas Market and it was only a minite walk away. We wish we had neen able to spend more time here. The check in was super easy... like "here is your key." Owner was more that helpful as we needed a cab to the train station and one was there within minutes. It does have a lift!
Disliked: This is not a conventional hotel. It seems a little odd when checking in as it is an offshoot of the restaurant, but it has a separate entrance, very clean and very conveniently located. Overall very satisfied.

Fantastic time in Mainz and...

Liked: Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The area was very nice and close to the Christmas market.
