Liked: Beautiful historical architecture. Great natural light in the room and bathroom. Staff were helpful and kind. Quick walk to downtown and Queen’s campus.

Liked: Gorgeous historic Inn, great location. Lovely rooms with fabulously comfortable beds, delicious hot breakfast for a nominal fee (and continental breakfast available for free…we just wanted something hot). my daughter said the chocolate pancakes were the best she has ever had. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: This is such a small thing. but the blinds in our otherwise beautiful room were cracked and broken, and it felt like there should also have been curtains. For a place that is so gorgeous, this seemed out of place…

Liked: The rooms were bright and spacious. Location was good and close to the park and river.
Disliked: Breakfast room was a bit crowded as everyone seemed to come at the same time. Had to wait for coffee and hot water one morning. A shame that some of the utensils were plastic but it was well explained when I asked. Would be good to see a recycling bin in rooms.

Liked: 1) friendly and welcoming staff, 2) access to coffee/tea anytime, 3) closeness to downtown, 4) historical building
Disliked: I was kind of dissapointed at breakfast as I had read many positive reviews on breakfast and saw nice photos of breakfast at the time of reservation. Although breakfast was complimentary, there was additional charge (CAD 4) for hot meals. I did not necessarily find any "amazing"ness in breakfast as previous guests had commented.
