Liked: Nice hotal, very helpful staff, safe parking for our "old timer" cars.
Disliked: Only a minor issue, but a 30 minute walk into the main town

Exceptional

Liked: Just off the motorway and a reasonable walk to the historic centre of Mechelen. The walk is about 2.5km, maybe too far for some, but I found it to be a quite enjoyable stroll up the river. Great rooms, generously sized. Really helpful staff.
Disliked: Possibly a little too close to the motorway, but the distant noise didn't bother me.

Liked: Nice room with two narrow single beds. . Very friendly staff. Ok breakfast with again, friendly staff.
Disliked: You hear the traffic noise from the road quite well. Shower was so-so clean. floor of the shower looked a bit dirty
