Great place to stay!

Liked: Location was perfect. The rooms were large and comfortable! I was going on a cruise and stayed before and after. I was disappointed there was not a coffee pot in the room so I brought my own. Diane was wonderful and took care of any thing I asked for of about quickly! I look forward to staying again!
Disliked: No coffee pot in the room.

I love this small, boutique...

Liked: I stayed here for a week and loved it. The woman at the front desk was a doll. My room was huge with lots of space, great tv with roku, the bed was very, very comfortable, the patio was nice for having coffee in the morning. I used the iron and the hairdryer and both worked great. The room had a small kitchen sink, fridge, and microwave. I could keep my leftovers and some snacks in there so that was helpful. I had a small desk to use for work and plenty of lamps around for lighting. There's a ceiling fan and the A/C so it's not too hot at night.Everything in the bathroom was very, very clean! Towels were sparkling white, the floors were mopped and the shower was in a great shape. NOLA small hotels like this are a gem. They are not the Ritz but they have that old New Orleans charm. I had a room on the 2nd floor and even without an elevator it wasn't hard to get my bags up there. They let me store my luggage after checkout so I could go about town before my flight. Overall, great stay and you'll love it if you're looking for a clean, simple space to call home while visiting the city.
Disliked: I wish the windows had screens so I could open them up to get a breeze. I also wish there was a bit more counter space or a small table in the bathroom of room 204 to put toiletries on there. I would have liked actual glasses in the rooms instead of small plastic cups. But I just went out and got a big glass for my room and kept it there. None of this impacted my enjoyment of the space though!

Clean accommodation, easy access to...

Liked: Lovely old building
Disliked: Not central , though you could get a tram just across the road Very basic accommodation I wouldn’t have chosen then room that has a door to the street , very noisy at night and didn’t feel safe : not greatest area

Only stay there if you...

Liked: There was no place to sit in the room. It was a tall bed so to put my shoes on I sat on the floor. You could not come in the room to relax or read anything as the only option was to be in bed. The bath sink area was so small that all toiletries were left on the dresser and carried back and forth into the bathroom to use. There was no coffee maker in the room and the one in their common room was usually empty. The location to catch the streetcar was a definite positive along with the price of the room. At least they could have supplied a chair and some type of desk for use.
Disliked: All of the above.
