Liked: The property is very well kept in Gradara Castle, a former convent, beautiful views of the sea, amazing sunsets! All linens are newer, very good breakfast.

Liked: We stayed inside the monastery and it is really special. The room was confortable and quiet. I loved the pool and the breakfast area, surrounded with nice vegetation and flowers. Having a glass of wine while looking at the sunset and the hills around was very romantic.

Unique hotel stay

Liked: Totally unique place to stay. We were in the convent but could have stayed in the castle. If you are in the area, this place is well worth a night or two. There are restaurants in the castle area. Lovely staff. Our room was mixing old and new with the biggest bed we've ever slept in, in a hotel. We will be back!
Disliked: Slight better signs for the entrance would have helped, but this is a minor detail!

Liked: Breakfast was good. Staff excellent. Small but comfortable room.
Disliked: Did not get room I booked. Supposed to overlook the Piazza.We paid for an upgrade but didn’t think that was value for the extra cost. Had problem working the shower.
