Liked: LocationDecent shower
Disliked: Run-down, broken ac, unpainted patches on walls, sateen bedspread that is not washed between guests (if ever) sticky carpet, minuscule bathroom. Windows were filthy.

Carly is amazing but style...

Liked: Carly was so welcoming and helpful. She's so amazing, that we'd stay there again just because of her.
Disliked: It's a historic hotel, but the most recent update seems to have aimed for a 1980s style. We don't necessarily expect millions to be spent on restorations, but we would much prefer to see some basic or neutral design over a mishmash of time However, everything was functional and clean but not special in any way.

Hoped for a great experience...

Liked: Loved history and location.
Disliked: No AC for the two nights there. Had to change rooms because no lamps in one. The second one lamps did not work. No discount for the fact that we had no AC. Tried calling management and no return call. So would not stay again! Very old furniture in rooms.

Liked: Historic hotel. Old but clean. Very intriguing. Love seating out on the deck off second floor to people watch. Lots of restaurants and shops around. Will go back.

Disliked: Was charged for days I did not stay and am having difficulty getting this credited. There was never anyone at the hotel counter.
