Overall a good experience. Staff...
Liked: That it was in downtown Deadwood and close to everything.
Disliked: Only a very small window in the room.

Historic hotel keep in mind...
Liked: Location was nice but crowded. Hotel was historic and I took that into account with my rating
Disliked: Bathroom was dirty. Hair and dirt in corner by tub. Sink drained verrry slow. Bathroom smelled like old urine. Bed was ok but a bit worn out. Of three lamps in room only one worked and I couldn’t charge my phone overnight due to poor connection in outlet. Also noted there were two plug extenders in the room and I’m not sure the electrical outlets were safe. I should have taken more photos of the issues.

Liked: I like the history of the hotel and for a hotel that is over 130 years old, the interior of the building was in good shape. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large. However, I only stayed one night and I felt that one night was enough. For its high price of 150 dollars, I can do much better next time.
Disliked: The hotel room was small. The lighting was terrible. Only two small lights lit the room and it was not enough. The television was tiny. Worst of all the refrigerator in the room made a constant gurgling sound all night as if pigeons were in the room. I wanted to throw the fridge out the window. The room did not include a microwave or free breakfast. I plan on doing better next time and not stay in the Bullock Hotel.
