Great place to stay!
Liked: Great location for the start of the Iditarod and centrally located to everywhere. Very clean and quaint with nice staff!
Disliked: It would be nice if the rooms had microwaves and small refrigerators.

Would recommend friends who need...
Liked: Great location. It is 10 mins walk to train station with big luggage! If there’s no luggage, it is 5 mins walk. Big nice room

Wonderful. We would stay again. Lol
Liked: The fact that it was haunted. We love staying in Haunted hotels. And love that breakfast was included.
Disliked: That we felt/saw no haunted activity.

Central to tourist attractions.
Liked: Centrally located to tourist attractions and train. Friendly, helpful staff.
Disliked: Breakfast was fair and coffee was awful.

Dussapointing- especially at the price of 360.
Liked: Breakfast - none! . We were getting the train from nearby depot - hotel chosen for its proximity to same. The hotel must surely be aware of train times & check in time & one would expect they would make some concession to their guests embarking on an early train such as Denali Star. No, because we were leaving before 7am, breakfast would not be provided. Surely it should be possible to leave yogurt/fruit/bagel/something similar and we could have helped ourselves.
Disliked: We could hear every step from room upstairs. They were not unduly noisy but when trying to get to sleep for an early rising, every creak and step is magnified. The receptionist who checked us in was far more interested in the conversation which she was having (via her ear pods which continued in her ears during our check in) than she was in us. The service was very curt. A total contrast to Merediths reception two days before when we asked could we leave a bag whilst we went to Denali. She was very pleasant and obliging.
