Hinsley Hall

Booked blind for somewhere near Brudenell Social Club, and not knowing area. Really impressed; warm welcome; friendly staff; grounds of hotel very impressive. Very good value and have already recommended to friends.

Comfy place

Liked: Very clean, the staff were communicative and helpful.And ofcourse, the stayed in castle/mansion vibes are wonderful.
Disliked: It was under renovation when we stayed there, but overall the building is still beautiful.

Beautiful environment, but rather dated...

Liked: The large garden with beautiful trees and flowers. The big windows in the communal room with coffee machines.
Disliked: The room was rather basic and hamble. There was only a plastic cup in the bathroom. I made my payment a few weeks in advance, but was unexpectedly charged again at check-in. Although my memory was a bit unclear at the time, I followed the process and paid what was asked with my card. The next morning, I realised that I had been charged twice and promptly informed the staff. While they did issue a refund, it took several days for the money to arrive, which caused some inconvenience for me. I felt frustrated by the situation, as I had to deal with the consequences of their error.

Welcoming, clean and comfortable with...

Liked: The communal areas were welcoming, clean and comfortable with lots of refreshment options and newspapers provided. The room was budget, basic, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice - both prepared & fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, toast & preserves and of course a delicious full English.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Awful rooms felt like I was in an old peoples home so disappointing how such a beautiful building could be spoiled with internal architectural abuse felt like I had been totally misold definitely not worry the money at all !!!!!
