Perfect location for our overnight stay to attend a concert at the Barbican. It was a 10 minute walk.
Liked: Good hotel. Very clean room with comfortable beds. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Excellent buffet breakfast included within the price.
Disliked: Having to pay for car parking per night. It should be free if you are a hotel guest.

Liked: My initial stay was good, the staff was friendly, and the room clean. When I checked out, I ended up being stuck in town due to transportation issues, so I rebooked--and they immediately gave me a room, even though checkin was not until 4 hours later. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, highly recommend.

staff and view was amazing,...
Liked: reception and bar are beautiful, direct view of the castle and it staff were so lovely and helpful. They upgraded us and allowed us to have an earlier check in.
Disliked: For the price you pay for one night, I expected more. The bed and View was amazing, however, there was dust on top of the bed frame, light shades were dented, the rooms were not completely sound proof as I could hear the conversations from the room next to us, although these are trivial things to some, for £220 a night I expected better finishing touches.

Honeymoon Salt in the Wound
Liked: Staff are friendly, breakfast has good optionsLocation is good
Disliked: Facilities and the room itself. No functional air conditioning. Instead they have a trip switch on the window. So if you open the window, the air conditioning doesnt work. Staying 4 nights we attempted both strategies. First day we closed the window and left the air conditioning on all day to the coldest setting, we returned that night and the room was STILL hot. On the second day we left the window open all day which disables the air conditioning, we returned yet again to a HOT room. Needed to ask reception for a fan as hot room was impacting our quality of sleep on the second night. This helped cool us but didn't improve our sleep quality as the room was very hot and uncomfortable. I have stayed in better budget hotels. Considering how much money I spent. I was expecting a luxury stay for our honeymoon and was looking forward to surprising my new wife. I am sad to say it left a sour taste in our mouths. We will never return but not only that, we don't ever get a second chance at our honeymoon, which will hurt me forever. Cannot fault the breakfast that was our favourite part, the staff mistakingly double charged me for drinks but everyone makes mistakes I hope they follow through and void the charge as the shift manager Olga seemed to agree the receipt accounting was incorrect. We also alerted them to a bird trapped in their car park nets. No action was taken by them for 36 hours but they advised we alert RSPA. Unfortunately, the bird succumbed to the weather and died within the nets when RSPA updated us with the situation later in that evening.

Good location and easy to...
Liked: Good breakfast, friendly staff, good location.
Disliked: Rooms are exceptionally small. Not suitable for a family of four to stay in comfortably.

Good mainly, some disappointment
Liked: Great location, only a couple of minutes walk to everywhere
Disliked: No water in the room at all, had to call room service, who came quickly but I do think when you're paying this much there should at least be a bottle of water in the room. No power point next to the bed. Also extremely annoying that apparently I can't collect my Hilton Honors points, which was the reason I booked here, just because I booked through Booking.com and not direct. That's just ridiculous and I'm raising a formal complaint because this was never indicated anywhere. Although I'll bet they'll say its in some small print somewhere that no one would ever read.
