Clean and comfortable and relaxing

Liked: Breakfast was excellent, daily housekeeping, and location was within walking distance of the Wharf and the National Mall and because the hotel itself was not in a busy foot traffic area, also felt very safe.

Exceptional

Liked: The location of the hotel is perfect. It is a safe walking distance to the National Mall. The Spy Museum is right in front and they have a metro station directly below the hotel. There are several places to eat by the metro if you are looking for something convenient and slightly cheaper than the hotel continental breakfast.
Disliked: Price of continental breakfast is very high.

Not worth the price of...

Liked: An underwhelming stay. It was as if the door to my room amplified all sounds in the hallway. I was front row to every conversation, person walking by, door slam and elevator ding. Also I was not given direction as to how the elevators worked and I twice boarded the elevator from my floor when it had guests in it who were also not given direction as to how the the elevators worked. Finally city view (more expensive when I booked) doesn’t mean monument view but the photos they provided certainly pretended that it did. Who wants to pay more for a view of the highway?

Disliked: thought for what they have to offer, price is way to high. Breakfast is not even good, no pancakes no wafles. Restaurant was ok too

Great location, walking distance to...

Liked: Breakfast was superb. Room was fairly clean and spacious. Mood lighting was fun. Lobby was gorgeous. Staff incredibly kind and helpful.
Disliked: Our room floor needed to be mopped.

Exceptional

Liked: The location was great! Best of both worlds...The Wharf was a 10 minute walk and we could get to the National Mall in 15 minutes.
Disliked: We did not know about the food court which is located beneath the hotel. The hotel did not give us information about it. We saw signs, but were busy with visiting all of the sites. We finally discovered it our last night there. It would have given us a place to get some quick food, such as breakfast.
