Rooms very clean, but not well insulated from each other or the hall. Desk staff was pleasant at best; breakfast buffet was excellent!

Liked: Close to the venue we came to see.
Disliked: Noisy room to room.

Liked: The night shift front desk was nice, nice guy.
Disliked: The room was SO HOT! We had AC to 66 and it never got below 74

Disliked: The bathroom sink was disgusting. Appeared to be stubble from shaving stuck all over the surface.TV was inoperable. Appeared that the remote needed a battery. Called front desk, was told "maybe" someone could bring a battery. This never happened, missed the game I wanted to watch.

Liked: You really can't beat the location and the lobby/bar area is great. Having an in room fridge was a nice touch.
Disliked: We have stayed here on and off for over 10 years now and this stay was somewhat disappointing. We have always had a nice stay here in the past and it had lived up to the Hilton standard, but this time I would not describe it as such. The facilities seem old/dirty and like they have not been updated in years. I went into the room where the ice machine and the vending machine were kept on my floor (6th) and it was absolutely disgusting; there was dirt, garbage, and dead cockroaches all over, and the smell... I was actually embarrassed since I chose the place we stayed and bought the tickets. Many other hotels have popped up in Gainesville over the past few years and are much nicer even the ones that generally have a lower "star" rating. The price you pay here does not match the quality you are getting.
