Hotel staff from the lobby, conciege, restaurant and bell men were very cordial and helpful.

Liked: Room was very clean/spacious.

My hotel guest room was spacious. The close proximity of the hotel to businesses and attractions is great. The hotel staff was cordial.

Liked: The hotel is close to several modes of transportation which made it easy to get around.
Disliked: The room temperature was a bit cold even when the thermostat was turned up.

Liked: Location was great, bar staff in lobby were exceptionally well versed in cocktails and local nightlife.
Disliked: Price was a bit iffy, but that could've been the fact the TIFF was on at the same time, or just the animal that Downtown toronto is. Fairmont YVR was half as cheap for twice the service about 1 and a half times the room. If i had to choose again, probably would stay at the intercontinental again.

Love the hotel, just needs...

Liked: The location is amazing, staff are exceptional. The pool is great too - being able to swim in a heated pool, outside is so relaxing. The only hotel we’ve ever stayed at that the pool towels are bigger than a hand towel. These actual cover you.
Disliked: The pool is falling into disrepair (tiles missing around the top edge - jets are weak - the plastic curtain between inside and outside is gross. And the bottom is getting slippery (especially on the stairs into the pool)Our outlet in the bathroom was crooked like at a 15degree slant crooked - drove my daughter nuts lol.

Quality of the rooms doesn´t...

Disliked: Hotel needs udpating & renovation. Doesn´t match the price they charged. Rather worn carpeted flooring, loose windows that lets the street noises to the room. Air Condition/heating is old school noisy and not comfortable.Even at night times (around 4pm) some days heavy construction noises like piling from the area.

Liked: I loved the quality of the bed and sheets HILTON has.
Disliked: I really don't have anything bad to say, I loved everything.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful right away as soon as you enter, the lobby was very nice and the view from the room did not disappoint one bit! Location was amazing, Ubers were cheap to get around everywhere and 100% will come back.
