Angel C, Portland Oregon

Liked: Was so quiet.
Disliked: I went outside to get my breakfast around 10:10 a.m. and when I came back the housekeeper was inside the room and my suitcase was still inside. When I went to check out they charged me $57 - I don't know why as check out is supposed to be at 11 a.m. I checked out around 10:45.

Nice hotel, worth the stay...

Liked: Location was perfect, food was really good, staff were nice, rooms were comfy
Disliked: Drain was backed up when taking a shower (room 607); pool was freezing, I couldn't get used to it, was shaking from how cold it was

Nice downtown spot close to...

Liked: It was walking distance to some places to eat and ball park and the arch.
Disliked: One of front desk ladies seem unhappy or like she didn’t want to work there. She could’ve been nicer and more welcoming. Especially when people travel there to watch games or sightsee. A smile can go a long way to some people and make a difference. Valet and self parking charge for one night is too much and overcharged. Parked 2 miles away at another hotel for $8 and it was $50 for valet and $40 for self parking.

Never stay at this location...

Liked: Breakfast was great but not for the price after paying so much on the room. Location was one of the main reasons we selected this hotel it is near everywhere.
Disliked: We had to change rooms 3 times. The first room didnt have the refrigerator like we booked, the second one had loose tiles in the bathroom which while just trying to inform them we didnt want a new room but they insisted placed us next to the ice machine. Walked in started getting ready for our night out and instantly stepped on carpet that was saturated (hoping from the ice machine). Talked to the manager about having to move to 3 rooms and the issues we weren't pleased well he comped one night stay and our parking. Went to check out today it wasnt taken off the bill. So had to sit in line and talk to them again. I have been a hilton member for a very long time never had these issues. Also the rooms are outdated and a tiny bathroom in them. The elevators are very small even though fast it is crowded waiting for one. Valet to get our car to leave a couple of these days only had one person running the back. One day they had one person running from front to back doing it. We waited 30 minutes on our car.

Horrible experience will not stay...

Disliked: Booked a king room and was told its first come first serve and only thing left was a 2 queen bed room. Bathroom sink was clogged and wouldn’t drain and nobody ever came to fix. They would not work with us cause we booked 3rd party so still had to pay king room price. Checked in around 8:30 pm was told room was clean and ready and was another 25 min before they let us go to room due to they wanted to double check to make sure it was clean
