Angel C, Portland Oregon

Liked: Was so quiet.
Disliked: I went outside to get my breakfast around 10:10 a.m. and when I came back the housekeeper was inside the room and my suitcase was still inside. When I went to check out they charged me $57 - I don't know why as check out is supposed to be at 11 a.m. I checked out around 10:45.

Horrible experience will not stay...

Disliked: Booked a king room and was told its first come first serve and only thing left was a 2 queen bed room. Bathroom sink was clogged and wouldn’t drain and nobody ever came to fix. They would not work with us cause we booked 3rd party so still had to pay king room price. Checked in around 8:30 pm was told room was clean and ready and was another 25 min before they let us go to room due to they wanted to double check to make sure it was clean

Probably not again

Liked: It was across the street from Busch stadium.Front desk was giving water to people checking in. St. Louis doesn't give away ANYTHING so the water was nice.
Disliked: The toilet in room 1039 is messed up. The thermostat wouldn't go lower and it wasn't keeping the room cool enough like we like it.The carpet in this hotel looks awful and the hallways get too warm in the summer. Lots of people always waiting to be helped at the check-in and seemed like maybe 2 of the 5 people were helping ppl get checked in. I paid $50 per night for parking and had to park myself down the street. I wasn't crazy abt the valet guys at all.

Overall a good stay but...

Liked: Staff was very nice. Breakfast was excellent. Location couldn’t have been better
Disliked: When we check in the room was 78 degrees and the a/c was on low. The whole outside wall was glass and the curtains were wide open allowing the afternoon sun to bake the room. When we put our drinks in the refrigerator there was leftover food from the last occupant. After we got back from the game and waiting for the crowd at the elevators (not the hotels fault) we got to our room and I went to get ice and the ice machine on our floor didn’t work

Very poor

Liked: Location to Bush Stadium
Disliked: The room was hot. The room was 78F so we didn't sleep well. Engineering looked at the unit on day two and said it needed a filter. No change in room temperature on night two. Way to expensive stay not to have cold rooms

For a Hilton and the...

Liked: Location and view
Disliked: There was mold all over our room and bathroom, windows were discgustingly dirty, you could not even enjoy the view, the shower curtain was riddled with dirt, bathub bottom was visibly dirt covered, shower head was broken and hanging, sharp pieces hanging out of wall where shower head should have hung, dust all over light fixtures, bedsheets were moist and covered with what looked like blood stains, the room smelled so bad of mold we got a headache. We called manager up to see and she gave us another room which was downgraded and NOT the stadium view we paid for. We ended up leaving that night and requesting full refund. We drove 3 hours closer to home to stay at a hotel for only $169 a night that was 10 stars above the Hilton in St. louis.

Valet pick up should be...

Liked: Excellent location for attending ballgames
Disliked: Price increase when Chicago is in town is wild. Even more wild is when you can’t check in until 4pm, so we planned and arrived at 4:30-4:45. At 4:45, the receptionist says “your room isn’t ready yet, so you’re going to have to have a seat and wait.” Excuse me, what? For $300-$400 for one “night” and I can’t even check in at 4:45? So we had to sit in the lobby while family after family checked in without issue. After 30 minutes of waiting, my wife finally went up to the counter to ask and the clerk says, “yeah it’s ready, someone should have told you already.” Wild. Management didn’t care. Didn’t offer a discount, breakfast voucher, not even a comped beverage at the lobby bar while we sat and waited. I don’t expect any of those things, but sheesh. For what you pay for one “night” they could have been a little more courteous. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times before and never had even a remotely bad experience, until now.
