Hilton San Diego Bayfront

A wonderful place to stay. Convenient 5 minute walk to the San Diego Convention Center, Embarcadero Marina Park South for the outdoor evening concerts, or just a stroll along the marina.

Liked: The overall experience of the wonderful. The hotel staff from valet, check-in, restaurant service and express check-out were all on-point.
Disliked: There was one rude man who was a hotel guest in the lobby. He acted loud and boisterous on his cell phone on some personal matter as he walked around abruptly into the path of other guests. This was not the fault of the hotel or it's staff. Just an obnoxious person.

Liked: Nice accomodation; great room service; nice gym, great location.
Disliked: Yes, I could not extend my stay due to being totally booked.

Nice hotel, but not worth...

Liked: Nice location, clean, comfortable rooms
Disliked: Very annoying that I’d booked a room that “included breakfast”, except it doesn’t. They give you a $25 voucher, which really doesn’t get anything. By the time you’ve got something to eat and a drink, there’s still a lot to pay to cover very high Gratuity expectations and a surcharge.

Liked: The view was exceptional. Good location to city.
Disliked: Check in was very long they had one person then added another person. Then a third person came out but did not help anyone just went from one computer to the next. trying to get connected. The elevators were full of trash, half eaten corn on cob, paper napkins and just dirty. I tried calling front desk but was on hold for like 10-15 mins so just hung up and no one even returned my call. Could use better lighting (Hilton side where the parking lot is located to the hotel) from the end of the walking bridge connecting the city to the hotel. There were two looked to be homeless people hanging out there with a stun gun or of sorts they were trying to get to work, felt unsafe. I went to mention it to the front valet people but no one was there then the front desk line was vey long, grant it was after 9 pm. Just not like it use to be.

Chaotic, disorganized, not a relaxing...

Liked: Uncomfortable bedding (not breathable). Hot when covered , cold without. Phone was broken so not able to contact front desk, restaurant, our friends in the other room. Key card wouldn’t work for parking garage entry/re-entry. Breakfast voucher system is confusing. $25 value but not really - could only choose 1 food item and 1 drink. Then they didn’t even remove the charge and it still showed up and I had to go in person to speak to the manager and the hotel person at checkout.
