short get away

Liked: we liked the bell hops and vallet we also liked the front desk staff early in the morning on our last morning . older man was very nice , and the young girl that works the front desk was friendly .
Disliked: the carpet needs to be stretched in the rooms and in the hallway, we have almost tripped several times . the rooms were nice but needs a deep cleaning on baseboards and walls . they were shoe scuffs marks all along the baseboards and mirrors etc.. they don?t have coffee in the lobby but they only have coffee that you can make in your room in a little tiny Keurig machines , when we originally booked our trip their bookings.com we thought we were getting a room facing the landing with a patio that?s the whole reason why we stayed here. we actually came to Missouri to stay in Springfield but with no availability on the dates we needed we ended up driving to Branson to stay here and we thought that we pick the best hotel. and it is nice don?t get me wrong but, that?s not what we expected for the price that we paid. we did not get our balcony and they put us on the third floor when we first checked in and our TV didn?t even work it kept cutting in and out. but they were nice enough to switch his rooms and give us a room that faced the landing. it?s still had no balcony. we?ve paid almost $600 for two nights I understand that covers incidentals and valet for two days. but still that?s like $250 a night for some thing that we were expecting a lot more for. when we checked and the guy at the front desk did not even walk me as a Hilton honors member rewards. but he acknowledged the lady in front of me checking in that she was. I understand that I booked through booking.combut I miss lead us when I booked. A lady that checked in last minute and just getting a room in the south tower with a patio, and we booked 1 week and a half in advance . that made us a little upset . but it is what it is . I originally gave this hotel a 3 star but I deleted my Google review , and am now. leaving a 7 star out of 10 just because of the whole mix up through our stay .

Liked: Loved the location and room. One of the nicest rooms we have stayed in. Being right on the landing was so convenient, we had easy access to shops, restaurants, and entertainment. Highly recommend staying here.
