Hilton President Kansas City

Sister weekend. We were just a couple of hours from home. Hotel fitted our needs perfectly. We were checking out the Power and Light District during the day and attended a concert at the Midland that night. Close trolley access enabled us visit the City Market. Julio in the Walnut Room is the best waiter I have had in ages. He kept a watchful eye and anticipated our needs without invading our privacy. His demeanor was superb and his smile delightful.

Liked: Room; location; Walnut Room restaurant.
Disliked: Would have picked up a few things at the city market if the room had a fridge.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Hilton President Hotel and will not book it again.

Disliked: The thermostat in the room did not work. The shower had hard water deposits so bad that the handles would not work; it would fluctuate from VERY cold to VERY hot on a whim and the soda machine on the floor was not working.

Everything was great. Great location close to The Midland. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Loved the hotel. Would recommend to everyone.

I would love to have one of the Hilton's robes - very, very nice. I may give them a call and see if I can purchase one.

Liked: The hotel was lovely and our room was very nice. The location was perfect for going out to dinner and then to see a show.
Disliked: We thought for the price we paid we could have had some extras like breakfast or a free bottle of water in the room. We also had to pay for parking.

We were in KC for a concert at the Sprint Center. The Hilton President is located in a great area and is a very nice refurbished hotel - full of grandure!

I had a fantastic trip to KC to see a concert at the Midland (which I also highly recommend). The Hilton President is located in a wonderful area. The night life is great in this part on KC. The people in KC are very friendly and polite - even when driving! If you stay at the Hilton President I recommend going up to Zaina's for lunch if you like Greek - some of the best I've ever had.

Liked: Great location. Comfy beds and pillows. Friendly staff.
