Stayed here to go to a concert. Ended up doing other things in Philly due to help from the staff and the great location.

Liked: Location was excellent. Spruce Harbor was wonderful setting to kick back and relax. Great staff and great rooms. Room service was very good and quicker than expected.
Disliked: None.

Great historical location. You knew you were in Philadelphia. Directly on the pier. Close to venue.

Liked: Clean; comfortable; easy access; great service; location excellent for venue.
Disliked: Rooms not ready at check in; tempoarily misplaced luggage; bar service slow and ill prepared.

Liked: The staff. Listen the way this works is jammed up. The rooms they use are less than par. Hilton itself needs to bring it's standards back or charge less. You should hire me to stay in the hotels and report what's really going on.
Disliked: No attention to detail and the one in Chinatown needs outside guards to keep the junkies and con artists at bay.

Overall, it was a great...

Liked: loved the location and the staff. Everyone was so warm and welcome and treated me and my pup amazingly.
Disliked: The pet fee was a bit more then I 've paid for but still worth the stay.

Disappointing

Liked: The location was great right in the harbor and had great views
Disliked: Extremely overpriced. Almost 300 dollars on a weekday in September. The rooms were very old. The moldings dirty. No valet parking. 30 dollars to self park in the garage. Only one restaurant that?s working with 3 entres and nothing else. Very expensive breakfast. In the room no microwave no minibar. My friend?s toilet flooded and they wouldn?t do anything just brought her extra towels. The pool is very warm but only 4 inches deep so it?s really impossible to swim for adults. My daughter left her book back in the lobby - in a minute it was gone and the hotel didn?t help in any way.

Janky old room, but great...

Liked: The bathroom was large, the in and out parking with the attached garage, the view from our room, and the location is amazing.
Disliked: The room was a hot mess. The floor not vacuumed, a few stains on it, end table wobbles, phone had a chunk of plastic missing from it, the bathroom sink needs draino badly, the toilet seat was lose, and the floor of the tub was dirty. Oh, and they put the vent for the AC a foot above the thermostat to be cheap and save on electricity. The thermostat is set on 60 and thinks it is 60 because the air is coming out just above it.
