Hilton Pennywell St. Louis at the Arch

Liked: Location; hotel was a beautiful building.
Disliked: Not the cleanest; all foods/bar closed early on a friday night.

If minor inconvenience were fixed...

Liked: I loved the location, easy walk to gateway arch and Busch stadium
Disliked: Thermostat didn’t work so work up super warm, room did not get below 74 degrees and I couldn’t adjust it. Fan would blow but room stayed the same temperature. Door was super sticky and would not close all of the way unless you completely slam it shut

Liked: The lobby area was really nice, and the location is great!
Disliked: Our shower head gushed water and sprayed everywhere. The tub didn’t drain quick enough and you ended up standing in a bath by the end of the shower.

Liked: Our room at The Pennywell was clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: The A/C in the room struggled to keep the room cool during the day. The outside temperature was in the mid 70's to 80 degrees.

Lackluster room material condition, but...

Liked: The bed mattress was comfortable. The TV was a nice big size. The room finishes looked modern and stylish. Its right across from the Arch. Great location.
Disliked: The pillows were flat, the toilet was faulty (the flapper did not always close resulting in no flushes without you lifting the tank yourself and fixing it), the shower doors did not latch so every shower resulted in wet floors, and the AC vent was situated so that as soon as it turned on it blew frigid air all over your directly, and the top drawer of the dresser did not close properly, and hung out about 4 inches regardless of how many times you tried to close it.
