Hilton Memphis

I would recommend staying in this hotel.

Liked: The room was definitely up to the Hilton standard that one might expect. The views of Memphis from my room were spectacular, especially at sunset and sunrise. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. All of the staff were friendly, with smiles of welcome on their faces.
Disliked: I stayed at this Hilton when it was new. I was very disappointed in the lobby. It was cold and noisy. The bar needs to be offset a little so that one might enjoy a beverage in a calm and comfortable setting. I didn't like the concierge area being essentially non private for checking in or out.

I won’t stay there again

Disliked: I felt unsafe. The door “flip lock” was loose. No way to feel secure. Loud guests next door at 3am.

Disliked: I didn’t like the fact that if a guest request for a higher floor, it doesn’t get acknowledged.

The View

Liked: It was clean and safe. The staff was very nice and attentive, and the view overlooking the city was just spectacular at night and in the day. That view will keep me coming back to Hilton Memphis
Disliked: I happened to book last minute, not knowing there were a few conventions being held there. The front desk was prompt in finding me quiet accommodations for the night that met my original booking request.
