Disappointed with the Pool Experience

Liked: Premises are lovely!! Nice to have the bus shuttle to and from hotel. Nice staff
Disliked: We chose this hotel specifically because we were traveling with kids and wanted them to enjoy a fun time in the pool. Unfortunately, the pool water was extremely cold—freezing, in fact—which made it unusable for the kids and even for us adults. This was a major letdown, especially given that the pool was the main reason we booked this hotel over others in the area (and paid significantly more for it).The pool area itself also had some drawbacks. The large plastic-like sofas/chairs became very uncomfortable in the heat, there weren’t enough loungers, and there was limited shade available.Additionally, there isn’t much around the hotel in terms of shops, restaurants, or entertainment. If you’re not planning to spend all your time at the hotel, this can be quite inconvenient.On a positive note, the hotel staff were lovely—especially the bar staff, who were very friendly and helpful, and the reception team, who made check-in smooth and pleasant. The hotel rooms and premises were also very nice and well-maintained.However, despite these positives, the overall experience didn’t meet our expectations due to the pool situation and lack of surrounding amenities. We were really looking forward to a relaxing and fun stay, and sadly, we left disappointed.
