Beds are always a favorite.

I spent an awesome weekend at the Hilton and enjoyed every minute. Great rooms, comfy beds, and friendly staff. The shuttle was convenient for going into the park and City Walk. Bottom line - I would book again.
Liked: Wonderful, comfortable rooms with great views. Excellent seafood buffet.

I felt that it is very over rated and not worth the money. Lacks general accomodations, a simple meal is not available unless you order room service. Food at the pool is limited to certain times as well.
Liked: Glamorous but not worth the money.
Disliked: Ice machines didn't work, only meals you can get are buffet or room service. No cocktails until 11:00am, half the elevators didn't work.

Liked: The staff was so helpful and always in a great mood. Anything I asked for or needed was delivered right away or I was pointed in the right direction. Would definitely stay here again.

Walking distance to shops, food...
Liked: Location was great. Easy walk to the Universal City Walk and Universal Studios.
Disliked: A little pricey.

Begin to show signs of...
Liked: I love the Universal Hilton for its convenient location and always great stay.
Disliked: Having stayed here countless times this last time felt like it’s beginning to show signs of being outdated and have maintenance issues. Also, as I checked in I was told that they had new ‘menu pricing’ - well, after chatting with some of the staff, the 15% surcharge added to all food orders is NOT a gratuity for the hard working staff members. It’s a 15% surcharge that goes to the hotel. Staff does NOT receive any of the surcharge at all. Because of this one issue, I will no longer be staying on there. How are hard working service workers supposed to try and make a living? Sorry. That was the deal breaker for me.
