Superb

Liked: Great location, clean rooms and excellent service.
Disliked: The AC does not go below 21C and feels warm at night. The cleaning team keeps opening and shutting doors continuously between 8:30 and 9:30. I was on the 6th floor.

Perfect location for anybody running...

Liked: Room Size Breakfast was excellent Location was perfect for the station.
Disliked: The bathroom was a little dated The Aircon didn't seem to be very cold and i am not sure it was working correctly, but I didn't raise it with reception so i cant really complain !

Great hotel, great staff, shame...

Disliked: On checkin, Staff asked for “incidentals tax” of £50 per day. This wasn’t in the T&C, nor mentioned on any website. I had paid in full in advance. My PIN didn’t work so I said I’d come back, although with only three nights stay I felt it reasonable to pay in checkout. I then got a letter under my door every day chasing for a payment cards plus a text, and they also shut down my door card requiring me to return to reception daily to get it reset - but didn’t say this was why they were doing it until checkout. It was really aggressive and unpleasant to be cast as a person likely to skip out without paying for his breakfast. I’ve never been required to actually pay money and then get a refund of my unspent balance before and it felt very underhand. Sure, ask for an imprint of a payment card, that’s standard. But to take money and then require me to fight to get back any unseen charges is not acceptable. For example, connecting to the WiFi pushed us to accept at £12.95 per day charge - but a little careful clicking around showed that a free option was also available. Really unpleasant experience.
