Staff really very friendly and very helpful. When I arrived I was so tired - the receptionist very kindly gave me early check in and late check out too. Hotel amazing and spotless. In a great area too. Going to book to stay again.
Liked: Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would visit again and highly recommend.

Liked: breakfast, self service bar
Disliked: Very creaky bed, drainage smell in bathroom, holes in the wall where tv got smaller, maid waking me up at 8.45am by knocking and trying to enter the room

Disappointing
Disliked: I had booked and fully paid for three nights at this hotel a month in advance for a business trip. However, when I arrived around 11 PM, I was told that the hotel was overbooked and I had to spend the first night at another hotel. This was a big surprise and very inconvenient.The next day, I was picked up and brought back to the original hotel, but it took a long time until I finally received my room. As a result, I missed the beginning of my conference and important meetings.While the staff were friendly and tried their best, this experience left a very negative impression, especially as it was my first visit to London. I later heard that this kind of overbooking happens often at this hotel, which is very disappointing. I hope they improve their booking management to avoid such issues in the future.

Appalling service, hilton have gone...
Liked: Nothing, we didn't stay at hilton islington despite paying for it, we were moved to another hotel at midnight, after a long wait as we had an insect infestation in our room. Staff were inexperienced and sparse. Got to 2nd hotel and reception was shut. Long wait to get in there. It was confirmed by 2nd hotel that hilton Islingtons excessive room overbooking is a weekly occurrence, hence they cant cope.
Disliked: Insect infestation - Staff not too bothered, untrained and overwhelmed, not enough staff, not equipped to deal with this and room over-bookings (there were people stressed in reception, as we sat waiting for our situation to be dealt with we heard utter chaos, tears). The hotel was not equipped to deal with customers in hard situation arriving at a hotel with their babies, elderly relatives at night they booked and paid for rooms, to be told there was no room. We were moved to another hotel at midnight and kept waiting for hours before being taken by cab there. Got to the 2nd hotel reception was shut. Finally in our room at 1.30am

Liked: Staff very attentive, friendly and helpful. I enjoy staying at this Hilton Hotel and love coming back. This is my second stay in 2 years. Great location. Rooms are spacious.

Great hotel and location
Liked: Lovely hotel. Great location.
Disliked: Our room was starting to show signs of its age and could do with a bit of tlc, but only by Hiltons standards.
