A few issues in general,...

Liked: Rooms are nice, big and clean. Staff are always friendly. Lots of parking spaces. Reception and housekeeping are always helpful. Beds are clean and comfortable. As are the pillows. Plenty of towels provided and staff are happy to provide more if requested. Room service prices are very reasonable. Good quality shower gel, hand soap and body wash provided if you forget your own.
Disliked: The rooms have aircon, but I’ve stayed here numerous times in different rooms and the Aircon really is poor. You’ll set it to 16 and the room won’t go below 20-21*c, it’s just a poor system which doesn’t work well. Spring is bad enough I can’t imagine staying here in hot summer months. The tvs are dated, not smart tvs. You also can’t plug in a fire stick because there’s no plug near the tv which reaches. No pool, sauna or full sized gym. Car parking is very expensive, £17/car. The Hilton honours app is shocking, the digital key doesn’t ever work for me. You can come unstuck if you don’t remember your physical key. Shower pressure is poor. I think there’s an agreement with a motorbike school, you’ll almost always be mowed down by instructors / learners coming in and out of the Hilton carpark. Numerous stains on the carpets. Can’t always be helped however it makes you nervous in case they don’t know things were already there and you see a charge in the future.
