A wonderful place to stay...

Great staff, great location with...

Liked: Check in very smooth and efficient. Staff very welcoming, attentive and professional. Nothing too much trouble. Room nice, quiet and clean, lovely bedding and pillows for great nights sleep. A v good sized pool and jacuzzi and decent sized gym for such a central location. Tate Modern and river just minutes walk away and lots of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets on the doorstep. Waterloo 20 mins walk away. Fantastic location.
Disliked: The Hilton app I was asked to download to check in but didn’t work for me, my partner or other guests checking in physically. I enquired in advance about the bar with table tennis and Happy Hour and despite good communication from the team, it wasn’t until check in, when I asked, that I was told there was no table tennis. This had been one of the deciding factors in choosing this hotel, as it was my partner’s birthday and he loves ping pong. The front desk apologised and handled it very well but I think maybe this should be removed from the facilities list and photos?

Disappointing

Liked: It was clean, the receptionists were lovely, housekeeper amazing, location amazing, comfortable bed, shower and bathroom clean
Disliked: I went out on the terrace for a smoke where I was approached by a man telling me I was not allowed with outside drinks. I then asked him if he had the same drink in the hotel and he said no, therefore he did not allow me to smoke on the hotel terrace, despite me paying for the hotel for a night’s stay. It feels very disappointing to not benefit from a table and a seat to be able to have a drink at the hotel you are staying it. The next morning I would be waiting outside for my brother next to the hotel, and a member of staff would come up to and tell me that smoking would be done on the terrace, me not smoking but simply holding my vape in my hand.
