Liked: The bed
Disliked: Bit of a disappointing stay if I'm honest . Room when we arrived didn't seem to have been cleaned properly as I found a belly bar ball on the floor along with a hairclips and tobacco on the dresser . Would have thought it would have been a little more cleaner due to covid -19 .Secondly we went for breakfast. We got up to get another cup of tea and by the time we returned our table had been given away . When we mentioned this to staff we were asked to wait again . Very disappointed for the money . Didn't even get to finish breakfast before we were kicked of the table .

Liked: Excellent clean situated venue with great friendly staff.
Disliked: Other guests caused an issue which the staff dealt with excellently and made sure we were looked after.

Not how I remember a...
Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: We stayed in an Executive Suite at the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool as a treat for my wife who?s due to have a big operation soon.However our room wasn?t fit for purpose, there were several tiles badly cracked in the bathroom and the floor was actually moving. We kept hurting our feet as we walked in and out. There was a light flickering on and off and for someone with epilepsy this was a problem. The shower head had a hole were the head connects to the hose which meant water was flying everywhere when we got a shower.The light above the mirror wasn?t working. The section above the bed also wasn?t cleaned. I told all this to a member of staff and she said someone would have a look at the room and would give me a call. I didn?t get a call and upon checkout, I had to ask what the outcome was. After I showed the staff member the photos, she apologised and gave us 20% back for the room. You think your guaranteed a nice experience in a Hilton Hotel but this was not to be the case.

Liked: Good location and views, enjoyed the executive lounge and the breakfast. Bed comfortable and bathroom was nice.
Disliked: Room was dated, particularly the lounge area of the suite. I paid to upgrade and it just didn?t live up to expectations unfortunately. Sofa was stained and rest of furniture was dated. We stayed on the Sunday night and had to opt for elsewhere the Saturday as the prices were well over £300per night, I would have been very disappointed if I?d payed the sat prices.
