My wife and I celebrated our anniversary this past weekend and we could not have had a better stay. The hotel and staff were as nice or better than anywhere we have stayed and there were so many things to do in the area of the hotel. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Liked: I loved the location, the staff, and having pool access. The pool area is amazing. I did use the fitness room, very nice. This hotel is a very happy place everyone even the guests were just happy people.
Disliked: I would suggest a little more attention from the cleaning staff.

Disliked: disappointment regarding an extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable experience during my recent stay at the Hilton Houston Post Oak hotel from Thursday, June 19 to Friday, June 20.Upon returning to my room on the evening of the 19th, I found a notice slipped under my door stating that there would be no running water at the hotel. This was very alarming, as I had not received any prior notification of this major inconvenience. I had to immediately rush to take a shower and attempt to make myself as comfortable as possible under the circumstances.Unfortunately, the situation only got worse the following morning (Friday, June 20). At 8:30 a.m., there was still no running water, and now the air conditioning had also stopped working. I was left with no means to shower, use the restroom, or cool down in my room. The front desk informed me that service would resume by 5:00 p.m., but this did not happen. I followed up again at 6:00 p.m. and was told everything should be working—but by 7:00 p.m., there were still no improvements.Adding to the discomfort, the mini-refrigerator in the room had a faulty seal that wouldn’t close properly. This caused the insulin belonging to my guest (a diabetic) to spoil, which posed a serious health risk and further added to the distress of our stay.Due to these ongoing issues, I missed several important engagements and was forced to remain at the hotel with no access to basic facilities. It wasn’t until after expressing my frustration multiple times that I was finally transferred to a sister property, the Hilton Americas Downtown. While that location was far more accommodating, the damage to my overall experience had already been done.
