Liked: Staff were lovely except for a guy who brought additional tea and milk (only 2 tea bags and milk pots in room on arrival) and hovered for a tip.
Disliked: Checked in just after lunch. Room was roasting and thermostat didn't seem to be working. Reported it to the housekeeper who agreed and said she'd call maintenance. We then went out. Came back about 11.30pm and room was still extremely hot (this was March). Tried to sleep on top of the bed but eventually got up at 6am because it was so hot and stuffy and had a cool bath! Heard apparent maintenance work going on overhead and fan came on shortly after. A pity it hadn't been done when first reported.

Liked: I'd called the hotel a few times during the week to let them know I'd booked for my daughter in laws birthday. We'd arrived at the hotel to get ready for a night out in Glasgow and within 30 mins had a noise complaint about the TV being too loud. This was before 7.30pm. We were told there was a baby next to us. I asked to be moved as I'd made the hotel aware it was a birthday treat and they refused to move us. Also sent security to speak to us. Did not feel welcome at all.
Disliked: There was a wedding on in the hotel and there was food and sauce in the lifts on the floor. I told reception as I'd heard other guests complaining and nothing was done even 2 hours later.
