Liked: Staff were lovely except for a guy who brought additional tea and milk (only 2 tea bags and milk pots in room on arrival) and hovered for a tip.
Disliked: Checked in just after lunch. Room was roasting and thermostat didn't seem to be working. Reported it to the housekeeper who agreed and said she'd call maintenance. We then went out. Came back about 11.30pm and room was still extremely hot (this was March). Tried to sleep on top of the bed but eventually got up at 6am because it was so hot and stuffy and had a cool bath! Heard apparent maintenance work going on overhead and fan came on shortly after. A pity it hadn't been done when first reported.

Liked: The hotel itself was lovely. Classically decorated and comfy beds.
Disliked: Someone stole a set of Apple headphones from our room. When it was addressed with the housekeeping team, we were made out to be liars. We was told by the manager that ‘I trust my team with my life’ and therefore completely took no interest in our concerns.

Great location and value for...

Liked: Our room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom.
Disliked: There was only 1 lift/elevator working and it took us 30mins to get down to reception to check out. Every time the lift reached our floor it was full and had no room for us and my case was too heavy so the stairs was not an option.

Liked: Very clean, service was excellent. Room size was great.Breakfast was very good.Nice swimming pool.
Disliked: Location was a bit out of the city centre. Beds were a bit too soft for us.The hotel travel cot did not have a mattress (apparently these are not provided by the hotel) so it was really uncomfortable for our baby

A very nice hotel, attentative...

Liked: Parking in secure underground car park with EV charging facility was a real boon, and meant we could relax without worrying about the safety of our car.
Disliked: Unfortunately the breakfast one of the 3 days we were there was very poor, with sausages, beans and scrambled eggs almost stone cold.

Liked: Comfortable and very good location close to both the city centre and the West End. Good breakfast. Convenient for those coming to Glasgow by car.
Disliked: Breakfast room can be crowded and noisy, but I understand it is difficult to avoid in a large hotel with lots of guests.
