WE COULD NOT SLEEP UNDER...

Liked: the location was OK but the building was not properly designed to mitigate known and obvious external and internal noise and sound control issues. A operator with your reputation should know better than to build a structure with these deficiencies. I guess all of the money was spent making the building look great. I expected better from you.See what did I not like below.
Disliked: Sound control is a serious issue for hotel occupants because they want and expect to get a restful night. They will not get that here.DEFICIENT EXTERNAL SOUND CONTROLThis Hilton is immediately adjacent to I-5, so the traffic noise that carries to the inside of the rooms on the I-5 side of the building is very disconcerting. Hotel operators have known for years that these kinds of external sound control issues are easily solved with proper construction techniques (But it costs them a little more to incorporate the proper features).DEFICIENT INTERNAL SOUND CONTROLProper internal sound control between floors was also lacking but also could have been greatly reduced or eliminated with widely known proper engineering and construction techniques. Somewhere along the line, someone decided to ignore these important sound control problems or decided to cut corners to meet a budget. Thus, known effective sound control systems were reduced or eliminated.
