Hilton Garden Inn Westbury

Enjoyed every bit of my stay at this hotel!  I checked in at about 3:15 pm for one night, as I was going to a concert in Wantagh, NY and didn't want to take the LIRR back to Brooklyn in the dead of night. Lobby area was light, airy and welcoming. Check-in was quick and I accessed my room on the first floor. Room was clean, with standard amenities and good space for a king sized room. Bed was comfortable and I slept well. As a bonus, Westbury Mall is right across the street with brands like Dave and Busters, Bed Bath and Beyond, Marshall's and my new favorite, The Cheesecake Factory. Standard hot breakfast the next day, with great choices including omelette and waffles made to order. Quick check-out if you use their 'Zip-Out Check-Out' option.  If you have nothing to dispute on your hotel bill, just call the front desk to check out and leave the hotel keys in the room. Great deal with this hotel, I highly recommend it and would stay there again.

Passable

Liked: We only ate breakfast at the location one day. It was overpriced.
Disliked: Many of the facilities need to be updated. Our shower lever was on upside down so it was challenging to tell the temperature of the water. The tv went in and out-they said it was because of the satellite. Most of the time it went out in the middle of programs. It was a very basic hotel-fairly clean and it was very quiet.

Good

Liked: The room was great bigger than pictures and what I thought.
Disliked: There was dogs whining all night a few doors down and someone burnt popcorn one night that made it smell like the hotel was on fire. The hall smelled like someone was smoking weed in one of the rooms.

Disliked: Hotel hallway after exiting elevator STINKS!! It SMELLED SO BAD like a rotten something!! My dust mite allergies was acting up so badly!! THIS IS A DIRTY HOTEL!

Liked: Breakfast was nice - staff was wonderful.
Disliked: Room air conditioning was a little too directed at beds... Like blasts of arctic air.

Liked: I was tired and needed a place to sleep. Place is clean. The staff is wonderful, friendly, helpful and kind. Thank you.

Liked: Did not have breakfast but the location is perfect.
Disliked: No complaints at all.
