Hilton Garden Inn West Monroe

Horrible.

Disliked: We got there. It took 20 minutes to Check-in when we got up to the room. It wasn't really clean. It didn't have any toilet paper. I had to go downstairs and get toilet paper. The phone didn't work. We had to go downstairs to get towels. And the next day we didn't even get any towels until that night. The pool was horrible. Everything about the hotel was horrible. I didn't get my deposit back yet. Still, I've never stayed at a hotel that I didn't get my deposit back when I left it was a horrible experience. My kids didn't even have fun. Couldn't even swim in the pool. There was so much chlorine in there and it was dirty all around the pool. Dirty towels everything and the staff didn't seem to care that we didn't have towels or anything. It was a horrible experience. I've tried to call and talk to the manager and they won't even call me back.

Location nice, but rooms could...

Liked: I like the front desk staff during the day. They always greeted you when walking in. The maintenance guy was also nice and quick to respond.
Disliked: The cooks for the restaurant area were rude as ever. The rooms smell and feel “damp.” You itch the entire time in the room.

Disliked: I didn't like the water when taking a shower. Slow drain in the tub
