The staff was very accommodating. The room was spacious and very clean. It was convenient to all the attractions and only 2 blocks from the White House. I enjoyed it very much and the next time I come to DC I will be staying there again.

Liked: It was within walking distance of all the Smithsonians which was perfect for us. Really enjoyed staying there. Not lots of food options but there was a great Tapas bar around the corner

Average hotel in a good...
Liked: Nice and quiet room, a good breakfast and a central location. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The hotel was being renovated and there was nowhere to sit in the lobby. The pool was closed. The blanket on the bed was too thin. I was given another because I was cold, but would have preferred a down cover and not a thin polyester one.

Liked: Give my issues stated above some attention first. You prove to me that i am a valuabe customer first. Looking forward to your customer service.
Disliked: I selected to pay for the breakfast package. I was then charged for the breakfast package. When I arrived to the hotel. I was immediately fraught with disappointed anxiousness, worry and anxiety. The hotel was under remodel. The restaurant was closed. There was no where to sit in the lobby. That's right, there was no lobby. The fitness center was closed. I for sure planned to go to the fitness center. It was closed. With my physical limitations its important that I workout, eat breakfast and have somewhere to rest my feet when waiting for my Uber. The night before I arrived to the hotel. I was instructed to email customer service about price matching that booking.com guarantees. No one responded back to me. There was no information on the booking.com site that stipulated the hotel was under remodel. I was highly upset. I felt forced to stay at a hotel that charged me full price for less than full service. I was cheated, stolen from lied too and misrepresented too. The booking.com rep told me if I canceled my reservations I would penalized for one nights stay. I do not and/ or do not have the money to throw away. I don't know that I will ever use booking.com again. You want me to participate in your satisfactory survey but, you won't fulfill you pricing promise, give me an explanation, respond back to me or represent to me and others what we could truly expect upon arrival at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown DC on 14th steet.

Liked: The stay overall was very pleasant. The room was very comfort. Close to subway stations and close to most of the attractions. Breakfast was included in the price. They had renovations going on, little noise some times but did not disturb much.

Liked: Great location! The staff was nice and the Valet was fast.
Disliked: The place was under construction. We heard loud noises throughout the day. Additionally the pool was closed. Would return when the place was finished remodeling.
